I will be showing my work, including some of my Yukon Paintings, at the Arts on the Credit exhibition held at the Waterside Inn in Port Credit April 8-9! Happy to win Honourable mentions at the Annual Etobicoke Art Group Juried Show (so many fine painters showed in this exhibition) and at the Kitchener-Waterloo Society of Artists Annual Juried Show(ditto!) held at Homer Watson House and Gallery in Kitchener, ON. The paintings “Mexica” and “Melting Ice” were the big winners. “Mexica” is off to Galerie Bloom in Montreal at the end of April!
Ever since a trip visiting part of the Yukon I have been working on a series of paintings based on all the photos I took. It was a whirlwind trip but it left indelible memories. We were fortunate to be there in September during colour change and more fortunate that the weather was good! I started with some literal paintings and then progressed to abstraction and the discovery is continuting..I have a goal to do 12 paintings. Here are a few….

I will be sharing a large space with some other artists; we will be at the Dublin Street Church, corner of Suffolk and Dublin, Guelph, Ontario. I am pleased to be juried into the Toronto Outdoor Exhibition 2016 in the painting category. The dates are July 8-10 in Nathan Philip Square in downtown Toronto. Hours have been extended this year: 10-8 on Friday and Saturday, 10-6 on Sunday. I do have a booth in the shade, Booth number 251, and look forward to seeing old and new friends. I will be showing abstract paintings of various sizes and would be pleased to show you my new work. I will have some unframed work for sale this year. Delivery can be arranged and paintings can be purchased ‘on time’!
New paintings going into Dorland-Haight Gallery in Milton today. This is a joint show with Tom Dietrich and Sarah Joncas and the opening is Saturday, May 28th from 6-9 PM.
