Now that the holidays are over I am happy to be back painting. Finishing up some abstract work and preparing some submissions. The painting below is one of the several that are completed.

Guelph Studio Tour
Getting ready for the Guelph Studio Tour which opens this weekend: Friday, Oct 13 7-9, Oct 14 10-6 and Oct 15 11-5. I will be at Dublin Church, corner of Suffolk and Dublin in Guelph downtown area. Yukon paintings
Ever since a trip visiting part of the Yukon I have been working on a series of paintings based on all the photos I took. It was a whirlwind trip but it left indelible memories. We were fortunate to be there in September during colour change and more fortunate that the weather was good! I started with some literal paintings and then progressed to abstraction and the discovery is continuting..I have a goal to do 12 paintings. Here are a few….
Toronto Outdoor Exhibition 2016

I am pleased to be juried into the Toronto Outdoor Exhibition 2016 in the painting category. The dates are July 8-10 in Nathan Philip Square in downtown Toronto. Hours have been extended this year: 10-8 on Friday and Saturday, 10-6 on Sunday. I do have a booth in the shade, Booth number 251, and look forward to seeing old and new friends. I will be showing abstract paintings of various sizes and would be pleased to show you my new work. I will have some unframed work for sale this year. Delivery can be arranged and paintings can be purchased ‘on time’!
